How to Pick a Front Door Colour
There are many different styles, types and colours of front door to choose from. Here’s how to transform your property with the right front door colour.
The days of having to choose between different shades of brown for your front door are long gone — nowadays, you can purchase a wide variety of entrance doors in a rainbow of colours to suit your taste and property.
Brackenwood allows you to design your own door and see exactly how it would look. Choose from a huge range of colours, from Chartwell green to red, white, blue, black, oak, dark wood, cream, grey, black-brown and duck-egg blue, among other shades.
As well as customising the colour of the front door itself, you can also select the colour of the door frame. A range of shades is available, including Chartwell green, white, golden oak, mahogany, cherrywood, white grain, black-brown, cream and grey.
It is also possible to select a pattern, design and colour for any glass inserts you opt to include in your external door. Styles such as the Murano glass finish can be customised with detailing in a variety of colours, including red, green, blue and black. You can also opt for stained-glass window detailing in a variety of styles and colours, from English Rose to Crystal Tulip Arch.
When choosing a front door colour, consider how the shade will complement the exterior of your property and whether it is in keeping with the style and age of your home. You might also want to factor in the colour of other front doors in your street and decide whether or not it’s important for your property to blend in with those in the vicinity.
