Settling Down Adjustments and Service Visits
Following installation, it is normal for newly fitted windows and doors to require minor adjustments as part of an initial settling down period.
Where required, Brackenwood will attend and carry out such settling down adjustments free of charge. For clarity and reassurance, this free adjustment period applies for up to twelve months from the date of installation.
After this period, service visits for issues arising from normal wear and tear, usage, environmental exposure, or failure to maintain products in line with our aftercare guidance may be subject to a reasonable call out charge, in line with our published aftercare charges.
Where a chargeable visit is later found to be necessary due to a manufacturing defect or an installation fault, rather than wear and tear, any call out charge paid will be refunded in full.

What to Expect After Installation
Once your installation is complete, our team will walk you through the operation and care of your new products. Most installations require a short settling down period, particularly as materials respond to temperature and usage.
It is normal for doors and windows to need minor adjustments in the first weeks or months. If anything feels different after this period
