Our work
Real windows, fitted in real homes. Every photograph in this gallery was taken at a Brackenwood installation across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and the surrounding counties, from crisp white uPVC casements to slimline aluminium frames in heritage grey.

The classic side-hung opener and Britain's most popular window. Ours are made to measure in uPVC or aluminium, with A to A++ rated double or triple glazing as standard.
The opening sash sits perfectly level with the frame for a clean, joinery-style finish. A favourite for cottages and new builds alike.
Traditional vertical sliders with all the period detail, run on modern balances with modern glazing. Ideal for older and character properties.
Multi-panel windows that project outward to add light, a sense of space and real street presence, often with a window seat thrown in.
Tilt inward for secure ventilation or swing fully open for easy cleaning from inside. A practical choice for upper floors and flats.
Slim aluminium profiles that echo original steel frames, bringing period character together with modern thermal performance.
If you are browsing these photos to narrow down a style, start with the house itself. A thirties semi, a Victorian terrace and a new build each suit different frames, and the best result usually comes from working with the character of the property rather than against it. That is why so many of the heritage and sash installations above are on older homes, while the flush casements tend to appear on cottages and contemporary builds.
The next decision is material. uPVC remains the most popular choice for good reason: it is warm, secure, virtually maintenance free and available in dozens of colours and woodgrain finishes, so a white kitchen window and an anthracite grey bedroom window can come off the same production line. Aluminium rewards homes where glass should dominate, because its strength allows noticeably slimmer frames and larger panes, and it holds a crisp painted finish for decades.
Glazing deserves as much thought as the frame around it. Modern A to A++ rated double glazing already transforms the comfort of a draughty room, and for bedrooms facing a busy road, or for the coldest side of the house, triple glazing adds another layer of insulation and quiet. If that sounds like your situation, our triple glazing range is worth a look before you decide.
Finally, look closely at the details in these photographs: how the frames sit against the brickwork, the depth of the cills, the way bay windows carry their roofs. Those small finishing touches are where an installation is won or lost, and they are the parts our surveyors and fitters obsess over on every job.
Brackenwood is a local company, and this gallery shows it. These windows were fitted in towns and villages across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Wiltshire, Dorset and West Sussex, many of them within a short drive of our showrooms. If you would like to see the frames, finishes and glazing up close before you decide anything, you are welcome to visit a showroom and try them for yourself, or simply book a free design visit and we will bring the samples to your kitchen table instead.
And if you are wondering what happens after you choose: every installation follows the same careful path. A technical surveyor measures each opening precisely, your windows are manufactured to those exact sizes, our own fitting teams install them and make good around every frame, and we finish with a walk-round together to check the details. Then the paperwork arrives, including your FENSA certificate and your 10-year insurance-backed guarantee in writing.
Every window you see here was surveyed, made to measure and fitted by Brackenwood's own installation teams. Each install carries the BSI Kitemark, FENSA registration for Building Regulations compliance and our 10-year insurance-backed guarantee, a promise we have honoured for over five decades.
If one of these homes looks like yours, we would love to show you what the same windows would look like in it. Call free on 0800 25 35 45 for an informal chat, or book a free design visit and we will bring samples to your door.
